The Secretariat of the Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (UNEP/AEWA) would like to bring to your attention the depositary notification No. 08/2023 of 24 August 2023 on two corrections in Annex 3 Table 1 of the Agreement effected after no objection has been notified to the Depositary by 10 August 2023, the date on which the period specified for the notification of objection to the proposed corrections expired (see depositary notification No. 07/2023 of 12 May 2023 and AEWA Notification 2023/007 Corr of 22 May 2023).
The AEWA Secretariat had drawn the attention of the Depositary to the fact that Table 1 of the Agreement as amended during the 8th Session of the Meeting of the Parties, held from 26-30 September 2022 in Budapest, Hungary, contained listing errors for Aythya marila marila (Greater Scaup) and Ardea alba alba (Great White Egret, Western Great Egret). The Depositary, at the request of the AEWA Secretariat and with approval of the AEWA Standing Committee, transmitted the relevant pages with the following corrections through its notification no. 07/2023 of 12 May 2023:
