The Contracting Parties are kindly requested to take note of the revised version of Notification 2023/007 containing a correction of the below table with respect to Ardea alba alba.

The Secretariat of the Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (UNEP/AEWA) would like to bring to your attention the depositary notification No. 07/2023 of 12 May 2023 on two corrections that need to be made in Annex 3 Table 1 of the Agreement (version adopted at the 8th Session of the Meeting of the Parties (MOP8), 26 – 30 September 2022, Budapest, Hungary).

The AEWA Secretariat has drawn the attention of the Depositary to the fact that Table 1 of the Agreement as amended during the 8th Session of the Meeting of the Parties, held from 26-30 September 2022 in Budapest, Hungary, contains listing errors for Aythya marila marila (Greater Scaup) and Ardea alba alba (Great White Egret, Western Great Egret) and requested that the proposed corrections be transmitted to the Parties for acceptance. The Depositary, at the request of the AEWA Secretariat and with approval of the AEWA Standing Committee, has transmitted the relevant pages with the following corrections through its notification no. 7/2023:

The Secretariat would like to urge all National Focal Points to carefully consider the depositary notification no. 7/2023 and its Annexes and to provide any comments or objections to the proposed corrections to the Depositary within 90 days from the date of the depositary notification, i.e. no later than 10 August 2023:
