The UNEP/AEWA Secretariat would like to bring to your attention the depositary notification No. 01/2024 of 29 February 2024 on the Czech Republic’s withdrawal of its reservation made in accordance with Article X, paragraph 6, of AEWA due to impossibility to accomplish the procedure of internal approval concerning the amendments to the Agreement’s annexes, adopted at the 8th Session of the Meeting of the Parties (MOP8) to AEWA, 26 - 30 September 2022, Budapest, Hungary, in the mentioned ninety days period.

In accordance with Article X, paragraph 6, of the Agreement, the amendments to the Annexes 2 and 3 and to Table 1 to the Agreement adopted during MOP8 will enter into force for the Czech Republic on 27 March 2024.
