The UNEP/AEWA Secretariat is pleased to announce that the 16^th Meeting of the AEWA Technical Committee will take place in the Czech Republic. The dates of the meeting are 25-29 January 2021.

The Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic has kindly offered to host the meeting in Mikulov, Czech Republic, should the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic allow for a physical meeting. 

The Secretariat together with the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic will be closely monitoring the development of the situation over the next month and take a decision at the end of November whether the meeting will be held in a physical or virtual format. You will be informed accordingly.
