2025/012: Dates and Venue of the 9th Session of the Meeting of the Parties to AEWA (MOP9) - Update

In reference to Notification 2025/001 the UNEP/AEWA Secretariat would like to inform the Contracting Parties that the 9th Session of the Meeting of the Parties to AEWA (MOP9) will not take place in Gaborone as originally planned since the Government of Botswana has withdrawn its invitation to host MOP9. The meeting will be organized by the Secretariat on the UN Campus in Bonn and has been rescheduled to take place on 9 – 12 December 2025.  

The deadline for the submission of proposals for amendments to the Agreement and/or its annexes is 12 July 2025.
