The UNEP/AEWA Secretariat is pleased to announce that the 9th Session of the Meeting of the Parties to AEWA (MOP9) will take place on 10 – 14 November 2025 in Gaborone at the kind invitation of the Government of Botswana.

The deadline for the submission of national reports is 13 May 2025, and the one for submission of proposals for amendments to the Agreement and/or its annexes is 12 June 2025.

A dedicated webpage for MOP9 will be set up and made available on the AEWA website which will also contain further relevant deadlines.
