| At
the Third session of the Meeting of the Parties to the African-Eurasian
Waterbird Agreement in October 2005, Dakar, Senegal, the Parties
agreed to give high priority to the production of international
reviews in accordance with Art. 7.4. of the AEWA Action Plan.
One of these reviews is the review on hunting and trade
legislation in countries in the AEWA region (Art 7.4 (d)).
The Secretariat will produce this review in-house and has
prepared a questionnaire for this purpose, in coordination
with the Technical Committee. The returned questionnaires
will be analyzed and synthesized by the Secretariat, which
will prepare a comprehensive report for MOP4.
