MID-CONFERENCE EXCURSIONS
17 MAY 2012
A selection of five excursions will offer
MOP5 participants the opportunity to explore
bird-rich nature reserves in the surroundings
of La Rochelle. The mid-conference excursions
are offered free of charge by the host government
and are jointly organized by the Ligue pour
la protection des oiseaux (LPO), the Office
national de la chasse et de la faune sauvage
(ONCFS) and the Fédération départementale
des chasseurs de Charente-Maritime (FDC17).
LANGUAGE:
Both French and English speaking participants
will be catered for.
TRANSPORT & LUNCH:
Transport from the conference venue and back
by bus, as well as lunch, will be provided
free of charge.
REGISTRATION:
Delegates are requested to register for one of the excursion options.

MORNING EXCURSIONS
15 & 16 MAY 2012
On two mornings during MOP5, the Ligue pour
la protection des oiseaux (LPO) will invite
delegates to visit the nearby Tasdon and Pampin
marshes. These excursions are offered free
of charge.
LANGUAGE:
Both French and English speakers will be catered
for.
TRANSPORT:
Bus transport from the conference venue and
back will be provided free of charge.
REGISTRATION:
Delegates are requested to register
for the morning excursions.

La Rochelle Tourist Office offers a selection
of bilingual guided tours & excursions
to MOP5 participants on Saturday 19 and Sunday
20 May 2012. For a detailed description, please

REGISTRATION:
These post-conference tours and excursions
can be booked directly with the Tourist Office
using the registration
form. Please
note that all registrations should be made
before 1 May 2012 and that a booking fee
applies. Delegates will also have the opportunity
to register at the conference venue, at the
Tourist Office stand, on Monday 14 May 2012.
