12th Meeting of the AEWA Technical Committee

The 12th Meeting of the AEWA Technical Committee took place in Bonn from 3 to 6 March. It was the Committee’s last meeting before the 6th Session of the Meeting of the Parties (MOP6) which will also be held later this year in Bonn from 9 to 14 November.

Institutions and citizens from all nations are invited to nominate individuals or institutions – governmental and non-governmental, including community groups or private sector enterprises – of any country in the Agreement area for the fourth edition of the AEWA Waterbird Conservation Award.

A Boost to the Conservation of Waterbirds Breeding in the Red Sea Islands in Egypt

The Nature Conservation Sector (NCS) of the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) in close cooperation with Nature Conservation Egypt (NCE), recently completed a project aimed at boosting efforts towards waterbird conservation in the Red Sea coastal region in Egypt.
