The 6th Session of the Meeting of the Parties (MOP6) to AEWA is scheduled to take place on 9 - 14 November 2015 in Bonn, Germany. The year 2015 also marks the 20th Anniversary of AEWA!

The motto of the growing Bonn-based UN family, where the UNEP/AEWA Secretariat is located, is United Nations in Bonn: for Sustainable Development Worldwide. This motto embraces diverse activities such as climate protection, combating desertification, voluntary service, early warning systems for the reduction of natural hazards, and, not least, the conservation of migratory species.
